Brooklynn Jayde
These are from my recent shoot with actress and singer Brooklynn Jayde. This was kind of a last minute shoot. There wasn't a lot of time for planning, but I think we managed to get a few good ones.

I have been talking with Desmond for several months and today we finally got together at his studio for a quick shoot. He needed some new photos for his art show starting April 28th. It's called Generation Next and will be at the State Capital for 4 months. Try to go by if you can. We took a few shots of his work and man, there are some good paintings that will be there.

I recently got to work with Laura Leigh. They are an up and coming duo from OKC. She and Zach Dumbleton are super cool. I have heard a few things they are working on and it sounds awesome. Watch out for these guys. I look forward to the next few shoots we have planned.

It's been a while since I have been out to a local show. I decided to go out and support local artist Josh Sallee for the release show for his new album Probable Flaws. The show was awesome and there were a ton of people. It was really cool to say hi to Privalegde and James Harden who showed up to support Josh.

Over the weekend my wife and I got invited to the Fashion In Full Bloom event hosted by NBA player Serge Ibaka. Our good friend Vernon Deas from GRPFLY Clothing provided all the shirts for the models to wear while they were getting ready for the show. The event was put on to support The Allied Arts in Oklahoma City. We got to meet and chat a little bit with Project Runway's Johnathan Kayne, Serge Ibaka, and Kevin Durant. It was also good catching up with Carolyn and Gary Goldman from Uptown Kids.

These are from my archives. They were taken last year at NAB. I took so many photos while in Las Vegas. I decided to revisit them and give them a film look using VSCO Film. I used the Kodak TRI-X preset and other adjustments to get the look I wanted.

A while back, I got the chance to play with a few slow motion cameras. They are insanly fun. This is a little promo I helped put together for Insight Visual Media. I did most of the editing and quite a bit of the filming. If you want to see some other slow motion work, check them out at Insight Visual Media

One of my last photo shoots of 2011 was with our friends Melissa and Whitney. I didn't really know what I was looking for except I wanted to try a few differnt lighting ideas and process the images with some different coloring. I am very pleased.

Last month I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Chuck Wepner. For those who don't know, he is credited as the inspiration for Rocky Balboa. He is one of the nicest people I have met in a while. His stories were awesome and he had many of them.

I have a confession to make. I have a frame hanging on the wall that has been emtpy for months (like 6 or more). It looks so out of place but I haven't found the perfect piece to put in it until now. Over the weekend I tested out the Polaroid GL10 printer along with Visual Supply's VSCO flim presets for Abobe Lightroom.

If you know me, you know I have never been much of a blogger. I really want to blog more but I seem to always get side tracked or just never find the time. Recently I have been really motivated to do more personal work. I have been talking with a few people, some photgraphers and some not. We have been talking about personal work and wanting to post more of it. A few of them have been getting on to me a little bit because they know my photography background. They know I used to do a ton of landscape and fine art macro work. They have been teling me that it's a shame that nobody ever gets to see that work.
A few days ago I commented on something Nathan Presley had posted about having thousands of photos that nobody has ever seen. I was almost to the point in which I was going to start sharing some old and new personal work. After that comment and talking with a few people, I decided it was time to get something up. Who knows how long it will last. This series was completed several years ago. It is a macro series about water drops. I have posted a few here and there but I have never posted the series all together. At this point I still don't know what to do with it. All images are for sale. Contact me if you are interested.
