One of my last shoots in 2013 was with Oklahoma City Thunder point gaurd Russell Westbrook. I am a big Thunder fan and I have been wanting to photograph some Thunder players for a while now. My first opportunity was with Russell. Can't complain about that. Russell was a lot of fun to work with. He was cracking jokes and goofing around with everyone on set but very professional at the same time. The main set of images were for U.S.Cellular to be used in various marketing pieces. Big thanks to The Cryder Group, Insight Visual Media and Jay.
Here are a few of my favorites and outtakes.
Russell and my wife Destiny messing around.
Ray Westbrook making sure the light was right.

Last month I spent some time with my family in Colorado. These were taken on the way up Mount Evans. It has been over 15 years since I last visited Colorado. It wont be another 15 years before I visit again. Colorado is a beautiful place and I really want to see a lot more. If you are interested in prints please contact me.

These are from a shoot a few months back with actress Rachel Truitt. She was a lot of fun to work with and was up for anything. I'm pretty sure I owe her a pair of shoes since I had her walk thorough mud a few times.

A few weeks ago I was hired by The Cryder Group to photograph athletes at a training facility. This was a fun expirence to see how much these athletes put into getting better. We shot a lot of random stuff, staff portraits and then used some light for some darker images. I got to hang out with a few pro athletes and they were very nice and willing to let us work with them while they were training.
APEC provides cutting edge training for the serious athlete. All levels. All. athletes. All year. Our training will get you to the next level. Our results speak for themsleves. Discover for yourself why professional athletes from across the country train at APEC.

Over the weekend my wife was determined to catch some fish. I didn't mind because what guy would have a problem with a wife that loves to fish and not get bored with it? She would stay at the lake from sun up to sun down every weekend if she could. I knew it was going to be hot, humid and there was a chance of rain. We went out Saturday and Sunday and didn't have much luck. We only caught a few, but that's ok because we spent a lot of time together and I got to play with the new VSCO Cam app. Here are some images from our fishing adventures. Check out my VSCO Grid for some more images edited with VSCO Cam.

It's been about 4 months since I have posted anything on my site. There are some good reasons for that. I took a little break from things to focus on getting my print/book company prnt.co off the ground. I've put in a lot of work and couldn't be happier with how things are going. On the photography side I have been doing alot more personal work lately. I am still doing commercial/portrait work, but haven't been adding it to my portfolio. I will be updating my site very soon. Since I haven't posted any new work, here are some recent iPhone images edited with VSCO Cam.

Over the weekend I went out to shoot some personal work. I ended up finding a little creek and decided to play with some long exposures during the day. I took a slider thinking I might shoot some video. After shooting for a while I thought it might be cool to do a few slider shots then when the shot stopped I could take a long exposure. I was wanting to see how it would turn out in post if I blended the video and the still images. I think it turned out pretty cool. I will be trying this again very soon. This was the result.
Here are the stills that I used
